Videogames: Moments of Fail

Everyone has them, like going against the final boss of a game that has 6 transformations without realizing that your party healer is dead and you ran out of potions, oh and to top it all off there was no save point before it, or maybe you were playing and suddenly the console malfunctions.

I had two that had have an impact on me, while playing star ocean :in the end of time on the PS2, saving my game,with the screen that shows the message of "Saving game... Please do not turn off the console", well my power went out at that exact moment. When i turned it back on my file was corrupted and i had to start it all over again.

My second story is even worse. I had just finished Resident Evil after acquiring it 10 hours earlier. I was playing in mercenaries mode, i was really into it heads exploding, zombies running after me, and me laughing, which all stopped when my Ps3 suddenly froze up. Freezing up was common, at least on my Ps3, so i just did what i had done so many times,i manually restarted it, everything was normal red to green but suddenly a yellow light appeared , and i heard three beeps,while it went into a blinking red light, i tried it again and it showed the same results, so i went into google and searched the symptoms only to learn that i had gotten a YLOD or "Yellow light of death".

Ouch I guess the worst I have ever had doing is my console just locking up after hours and hours of play which normally causes me to just stop playing it for awhile.

But I have more incidents with gameplay instead....like when you try really hard to 100% a game only to find the reward to be rather shitty...Or when you have games that constantly bog themselves down trying to give you a challenge when the only challenge was trying to play through lag...

Team Deathmatch.

After getting through Silent Hill 2 : Restless Dreams in 2 hours 26 minutes my Xbox died, I was so pissed and I haven't touched it since that day that was like 3 weeks ago.

On a rainy day, it was dark, I wanted to play Resident Evil 2 without any saves... What happened you might ask? Obviously the light went off, just in the final boss, like the last one I was so PISSED OFF.


Umm Metroid Prime Hunters, I love it, buuuuuut, it frikken glitches itself! I don't know if it's my DS or the game but, when I was on the last boss (hell it's hard for me D: ) I didn't knew what happened but, the game stopped and like a horror movie, my HP started to decay and I died, I went to the menu after that, and there was an awkward sound I started the last mission again and, Samus moved by herself, instead of being angry, I loled.
